A pedestrian crossing Flamingo Road at a marked crosswalk was hit by a car and critically injured Sunday, December 27th. The victim, a 40-year-old Las Vegas man was crossing the street legally when a car heading westbound failed to yield to the pedestrian. The man was taken to University Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, Metro Police said. No passengers of the vehicle were injured, however, the crash remains under investigation.
