Woman Hospitalized After Head-On Crash With Patrol Car

A woman found herself in the hospital late on the evening of January 24th after she drove over a center median and crashed into the front of a Las Vegas Metropolitan Police vehicle. According to police, the patrol car was headed southbound on Joe W. Brown Drive around 6:30 p.m. when the woman headed northbound hopped the median and collided head-on with the police vehicle. The woman was taken to Sunrise Hospital with minor injuries. However, police suspect that she may have been impaired while operating the vehicle. Luckily, the officer driving the patrol car was uninjured in the accident. Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
