Fatal One-Car Collision With Pole Leads to Death of Las Vegas Man
One man has been killed in north Las Vegas after his SUV collided with a pole on the evening of May 16th.
The crash took place just after 5:00 p.m. near the intersection of Lake Mead Boulevard and 5th street.
According to police, Martin Martinez-Parga, 24, of Las Vegas was killed after his SUV collided with a pole. Speed was considered a factor in the fatal crash.
Martinez-Parga was pronounced dead at the scene and the two other passengers of the vehicle were taken to the hospital in critical condition. Police say that the doors of the vehicle had to be pried open in order to get the passengers out.
