26-Year-Old Killed in Northwest Las Vegas Crash
A 26-year-old motorist was killed on the morning of April 14th after a car crash in the northwest Las Vegas valley.
The crash occurred around 10 a.m. at Lake Mead Boulevard and Springfield Street.
According to Metro Police, the 26-year-old man was traveling eastbound in a 2019 Dodge Charger and attempted to pass a car, but struck it in an attempt to cut it off.
The driver then lost control of his car and hit an uprooted tree as the car overturned.
The man unfortunately died at the scene of the crash.
This incident marks the 32nd traffic-related fatality in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police jurisdiction in the year 2021.
