Las Vegas Pedestrian Was Injured After a Hit-and-Run
The Nevada Highway Patrol is still investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred on Thursday night and is looking for witnesses. The suspect has yet to be identified.
The crash happened around 8:30 p.m. on Boulder Highway near Lamb Boulevard and Desert Inn Road, the NHP reports.
According to police, a dark red or maroon mid-2000s model SUV, heading northbound on Boulder Highway, struck a woman crossing eastbound outside the marked crosswalk. The driver did not stay at the scene.
Las Vegas Metropolitan Police assisted in the investigation. The woman who was struck was in critical condition at Sunrise Hospital, said the LVMPD, but according to the NHP, her condition had stabilized as of Friday afternoon.
