63-Year-Old Pedestrian Dies After Hit-and-Run in Las Vegas A 63-year-old Las Vegas man has passed away after being hit by a car in a hit-and-run on the evening of February 20th.  The incident took place around 9:30 p.m. on Twain Avenue at Palos Street. According to police, the man was crossing the street near a crosswalk but against the pedestrian signal.  The pedestrian was struck by a dark-colored SUV that was headed east on Twain Avenue and left the scene in the same direction. The victim, who’s name is yet to be released, was taken to Sunrise Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead. The incident remains under investigation.
