Vehicle Crashes into Wash and Catches Fire
On the evening of October 17th, Las Vegas Fire and Rescue helped retrieve a driver from their vehicle that had crashed through a fence and and caught fire.
The report came to emergency dispatch around 9:30 p.m. from a relative who had been tracking their loved one via a location app. Fire crews were called to the 8600 block of Helena Avenue, Craig Road and El Capitan Way.
Once the car landed in the wash it burst into fire. Luckily, firefighters were successful in getting the driver free without suffering any burns. The driver was taken to the hospital with crash-related injuries and has yet to be identified.
