Pedestrian seriously injured in Henderson while crossing Boulder Hwy
Late Wednesday night, police officers in Henderson, Nevada closed multiple Lanes on Boulder Highway near Lake Mead Boulevard to investigate a car-pedestrian incident.
Police stated that a woman was crossing Boulder Highway when she was struck by a vehicle. Police confirmed that while she was using a crosswalk, the woman crossed against the walk light when she was hit by the vehicle.
She was taken to Sunrise Hospital in serious condition by emergency responders.
Police also stated that the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene, showed no signs of impairment and did not appear to be speeding when the incident occurred.
