1 person died in a single car accident in Las Vegas on Monday afternoon. According to police, the driver of a gray 2003 Acura TL was traveling at a high rate of speed when they failed to properly navigate a right turn and struck a median. The median caused the car to also collide with two poles and then advance into the middle of the intersection where it came to a stop. The driver, a 22 year old male, was pronounced dead later at the UMC. No other vehicles were involved in the crash and no other injuries were reported. The identity of the driver will be released by the Clark County coroner's office. The crash remains under investigation by the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
