Las Vegas Man Faces Reckless Driving Charge Following Fatal Crash A Las Vegas man crashed into a pickup truck Saturday afternoon at a North Valley intersection while speeding, killing a 70-year-old driver according to Metro police. Corey Clark, 20, was traveling south “at a high rate of speed” in a 2015 BMW 328I on North Decatur Boulevard when he struck a 2011 Chevrolet Colorado pickup at 4:17 p.m Saturday afternoon. The Chevrolet pickup was stopped at a marked stop sign at eastbound Jay Avenue. A collision occurred when the pickup attempted to cross North Decatur Boulevard, resulting in the front of the BMW colliding with the Left side of the Chevrolet. The driver of the Chevrolet pickup, a 70 year Las Vegas resident, was taken to the University Medical center where he was pronounced dead following injuries sustained to his chest. The driver of the BMW stayed at the scene and was arrested on a felony charge of reckless driving resulting in death or substantial bodily harm.  The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is currently investigating the collision.   “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
