6 Injured in 3-Car Las Vegas Crash

6 Injured in 3-Car Las Vegas Crash Six people were injured in a three-car crash on the morning of May 23rd in the easterm Las Vegas valley. The crash took place around 7 a.m. on McLeod Drive and East Tropicana Avenue. According to police, a GMC Yukon was traveling southbound on McLeod Drive when a BMW changed lanes and hit the Yukon from behind. The Yukon then struck a Nissan Rogue from behind. The Nissan was then “forced” across the intersection. Both the driver and passenger of the BMW were taken to Sunrise Hospital with moderate injuries. The driver of the Nissan, a 45-year-old woman from Las Vegas, was taken to the hospital with critical injuries. The three people in the Yukon drove themselves to the hospital to treat their injuries. The driver of the Yukon, Oscar Rios, was suspected of impairment and was booked into Clark County Detention Center on a DUI charge.   “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
