One Dead in Crash on I-15 in Southwest Las Vegas Valley
Nevada Highway Patrol has reported one fatality in a crash on the evening of June 30th in the southwest Las Vegas Valley.
Police responded to a call at around 10 p.m. that detailed a Jeep driving recklessly on I-15 while approaching Starr Avenue.
They later received another call that said the same vehicle had crashed and hit the center median impact attenuator head-on, causing the vehicle to spin into the road. The Jeep then hit a black Cadillac, and finally a gold Toyota before coming to a rest.
The driver of the Jeep was transported to University Medical Center, but passed away on the way to the hospital. Her identity has yet to be released to the public.
NHP closed I-15 northbound for the investigation, and were diverting traffic off at St. Rose Parkway.
