Here’s some good news for bicyclists: Between 2013 and 2014, there was nearly a 20 percent reduction in the number of bicycle-crash fatalities in the United States, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. However, the number of bicycle injuries increased to 50,000 in 2014 – a jump of 4 percent compared to 2013.
