March 14: From 7-9am at the Fiesta Henderson Hotel, Tony DePasquale, president and founder of Elysien Private Wealth, will discuss “Protect Your Retirement Plan From Lawsuits and Government Fines” during the Henderson Chamber of Commerce’s networking breakfast.
March 15: Yvette Auger's Cosmopolitan Connections is hosting "The 7th Annual Selfie Party & Networking Event”, featuring Lash Spa Studio, from 7-9pm at Bottiglia Cucina Enoteca inside of the Green Valley Ranch Resort.
March 16: The ChallengeHER Las Vegas event for women business owners will be at 9am at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension (8050 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV 89123). The free ChallengeHER Las Vegas event will educate attendees on growth opportunities in government contracting as well as how to participate in the SBA’s Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contract program.
Also, each Thursday in March, Downtown Container Park will be having a family movie night under the stars. Pochantas will be showing this week at 5:30 pm and children are encouraged to come dressed up as their most beloved characters.
March 17: Every Friday through the end of the season, Lee Canyon Ski Area is offering $25 Dollar Lift Tickets with $5 of every ticket going to The High Fives Foundation.
March 18: The BREW'S Best Craft Beer Festival will take place Saturday, March 18 from 2pm to 6pm on The Lawn at Downtown Summerlin. Attendees will enjoy a sampling of a diverse assortment of brews from a variety of vendors as well as food stations, live music and games.
Also, Sierra, LLC. Air Conditioning & Heating will be holding a hiring event for a receptionist, CSRs, an Estimating/Accounting Clerk, & In-Store Lead Generators at their location on 4210 W. Patrick Lane from 8:30-11am.
March 19: Skye Canyon is hosting their annual 8K Trail and 5K Road Race to benefit the Outside Las Vegas Foundation at 8am. Then, from 9am-1pm Skye Canyon Park will have a variety of fitness classes such as Core Training, Danceworkz and Silent Savasana yoga. Kids activities include mini-golf, an obstacle course and a rock-climbing wall. Food trucks and an artisanal market will also be present.
