April 25: At 3pm at the Clark County Law Library (309 S. Third St. Suite 400), there will be a free seminar on identity theft. This is a great opportunity to learn how to best protect yourself from this increasingly popular crime.
April 26: At 11am in the Fashion Show Mall, a “Denim Day” luncheon is occurring to benefit the Rape Crisis Center. This is a ticketed event that will feature a catered lunch, a denim fashion show by GUESS, an inspiring survivor and champions runway show and a silent auction. For more information click here.
Also happening at 11am is the National Career Fair inside the Sunset Station Casino. This live hiring event is free for all career seekers. Attendees are encouraged to dress professionally and to bring multiple copies of their resumes.
April 27: The Nevada Fertility Institute is celebrating their opening with an open house, refreshments, and a ribbon cutting ceremony! The free event will run from 4-6pm and will take place in the institute at 8530 W. Sunset Rd. Suite 310.
April 28: The Las Vegas Science and Technology Festival is returning for nine days of educational activities set to take place April 28 - May 6, with various free activations across the valley. With last year’s record-breaking attendance of more than 26,000 people, this year’s run indicates up to 50 FREE events and hopes to see just under 30,000 people. April 29: At 7am the Grant A Gift Autism Foundation is hosting their 8th annual 5K “Race for Hope” in Town Square. The annual day of fun, fitness, and fundraising celebrates National Autism Awareness Month and supports children, youth and families affected by autism in Nevada. Online registration is available through April 27 here.
Later that evening, from 6-9pm, Olive Crest will hold its annual “Be the Change… An Evening of Hope” event inside of Red Rock Casino & Resort at Crimson. All of the funds raised from the event will remain in Southern Nevada to help the region’s most at-risk children and families.
April 30: At 9am, the Anti-Defamation League’s “Walk Against Hate” will be taking place inside of the beautiful Springs Preserve. Registration is $5 for children and $10 for adults.
