40-Year-Old Man Dies in Two-Car Collision
On the afternoon of December 6th, a man was killed in a two-car collision in Las Vegas.
The crash occurred at noon, near the intersection of Polaris Avenue and West Tropicana Avenue.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene shortly after receiving multiple dispatch calls from
the area.
According to reports, a 1998 Dodge Ram van was traveling in the right lane of West
Tropicana Avenue approaching Polaris Avenue. At the same time, a 2004 Freightliner box truck was stopped in the right lane of West Tropicana when the driver of the Dodge Ram did not slow down and collided with the rear of the Freightliner.
Upon impact, the driver of the Dodge suffered critical injuries. Paramedics performed life-saving
measures and unfortunately, the 40-year-old passed away.
The Freightliner’s driver remained at the scene and showed no signs of intoxication.
This incident remains under investigation.
