Box Truck Nearly Kills Motorcycle Rider
On Monday, May 2nd, at around 9:35 in the morning a motorcyclist was traveling through the intersection of American Pacific Dr. and North Stephanie St in Henderson, Nevada when the motorcycle was hit by a box truck.
Miraculously, the motorcycle operator did not die on impact, but was taken to the hospital in critical condition, Henderson Police reported.
The accident, clean up, and investigation closed the intersection in all directions for several hours, and Henderson residents were advised to avoid the area if possible.
Initial investigation reports suggest police do not suspect either driver was under the influence, impaired, or speeding at the time of the crash. No further evidence or reports were given by authorities, except that the investigation was ongoing.
