Car Passenger Injured In Bizarre Hit & Run Accident
After a car crashed through the brick wall of residential property in the south Las Vegas valley Thursday morning, the driver reportedly ran away, according to police.
Originally reported around 4:30 a.m., the collision was on Spencer Street just north of St. Rose Parkway, according to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police officer Lt. Michael Rodriguez.
A car crashed through the wall separating the sidewalk from the property's backyard. The driver had run away before officers arrived at the site of the accident. A passenger in the vehicle was left behind and is being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Police announced a part of Spencer Street would be closed for a portion of the morning to conduct an investigation, but has since reopened.
