Driver Arrested for DUI After Killing Woman On I-15 Ramp in Las Vegas A woman was arrested on the early morning of August 16th on suspicion of intoxicated driving after she hit and killed a woman that was attempting to push her stalled car off the I-15 ramp in Las Vegas. In a press release, Nevada Highway Patrol reported that the incident happened at 2:44 am on the southbound I-15 off-ramp leading to the westbound lane of Blue Diamond Road. Investigators discovered that a woman was pushing her black BMW Z4 from the rear while a silver Lexus IS250 was heading south at the same time. As the Lexus was driving by she struck the pedestrian and the rear of the BMW. The woman was then taken to the University Medical Center, where she unfortunately passed away. Clark County Coroner has yet to identify her. The driver of the Lexus, Alexandria Louise Lind, was booked for suspicion of driving under the influence that resulted in death along with failure to reduce speed.   “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
