Driver Killed After Crashing Into Oncoming Truck
A motorist was killed on the morning of April 14th after veering into oncoming traffic and colliding with a tractor-trailer.
The crash occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Pabco Road, near Lake Mead Boulevard.
According to police, the driver of a Honda Civic was maneuvering around a curve when he crossed double yellow lines, leading him straight into the path of the oncoming truck.
The driver of the Civic was killed at the scene of the crash. The driver of the tractor-trailer was treated for minor injuries at University Medical Center.
This death marks the 31st traffic fatality in Las Vegas Metropolitan Police jurisdiction in the year 2021.
