Elderly Man Dies in Hospital After Striking a Parked Vehicle in Vegas
A 91-year-old man was killed Monday after crashing his car into a parked vehicle in the Summerlin neighborhood.
Evidence and video surveillance show the vehicle traveling westbound on Sundial Drive before veering to the right and hitting a parked, unoccupied car, said Las Vegas Metropolitan Police.
The driver was reportedly not wearing a seat belt. After being transported to Summerlin Hospital, he succumbed to his injuries and died, police said.
His death marks the 58th traffic-related fatality for the LVMPD in 2020.
