On Thursday morning, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department was investigating a fatal crash near Russell and Fort Apache Roads.
According to police, the incident involved a white van and a silver Honda. Police said in a tweet from the official LVMPD account that one person had been transported to University Medical Center Trauma.
Initially, according to the LVMPD, the crash resulted in critical injuries. Around 12 p.m., LVMPD updated their report and stated that the person taken to UMC had died.
