Four People Injured in Summerlin After Kia Runs Red Light On Monday, two vehicles collided in Summerlin injuring four people, including two children. A woman driving a Kia Soul didn't stop for a red light at the intersection of Rampart Boulevard and Summerlin Parkway according to Nevada Highway Patrol spokeswoman Ashlee Wellman.  The driver also had her two children in the vehicle when she collided with a Hyundai SUV. The Hyundai flipped over due to the collision. According to Wellman, the driver of the Kia, the two children in the Kia and the driver of the Hyundai were all taken to University Medical Center and are expected to fully recover. On Rampart, access was limited to one lane and motorists were advised to expect delays due to the closure. The accident follows a crash on January 29 in North Las Vegas, when a driver going more than 100 mph ran a red light and collided with a minivan and caused nine fatalities.   “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
