A motorcyclist who lost his life after an accident on Christmas Eve was confirmed to be the 100th traffic-related fatality of 2020 in the Las Vegas Metro Police jurisdiction. The driver of the motorcycle was heading north on Bermuda road when he collided with the back of a minivan, sending him into another car. He was pronounced dead once police arrived at the scene. Traffic fatalities are up 4% from last year in Nevada, despite the lack of traffic volume and drivers on the road during the Covid-19 lockdown. Motorcyclists are 28 times more likely to perish in a crash than other motorists, the risk of riding a motorcycle is always high. Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
