Las Vegas police announced on August 22nd that a man passed away following a August 5th collision in front of the Strat on Las Vegas Boulevard. The motorist who passed away was traveling south on Las Vegas Boulevard, just north of Bob Stupak Avenue on a BMW motorcycle and was “riding recklessly” before the crash. The motorcycle collided with a Nissan Altima that was making a left hand turn into the valet area of the Stratosphere. Both the motorcycle rider and the passengers of the Altima were then taken to University Medical Center. The Clark County coroner’s office notified police on August 21st that the motorcyclist had died after the crash. The motorcyclist has been identified as Zachary Moran, 43.
