Motorcyclist Killed In Las Vegas After Being Struck By Vehicle

According to the LVMPD, a motorcyclist is dead after a crash in the Las Vegas valley on Friday morning. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said the incident occurred just before 5 am on Friday near Joe W Brown Drive & E Desert Inn Road. LVMPD said the motorcyclist was struck by a vehicle and the rider was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced deceased. The driver of the vehicle that struck the motorcycle remained at the scene and reportedly did not show any signs of impairment. East and westbound traffic on Desert Inn Road was closed near Joe W Brown Drive while authorities investigated the scene.       “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
