Ohio Man Dies After Crashing into Boulder in Southern Nevada
An Ohio man passed away in the late night of November 25th after crashing into a boulder in southern Nevada.
The Las Vegas Metro Police reported the crash happened around midnight near the Colorado River resort city of Laughlin. Laughlin is located about 90 miles south of Las Vegas.
The victim was driving a 2019 convertible Chevrolet Camaro SS when he ran a stoplight. The
driver then hit a median boulder and flipped the car, according to police.
Authorities said that the driver was not wearing a seat belt when he was cast out from his
Camaro when the vehicle was rolling.
The 53-year-old resident of Circleville, Ohio was pronounced dead at the scene.
His identity will not be released by the Clark County Coroner’s office until relatives are notified.
