One Dead After Fatal Motorcycle Crash
One person was killed after a suspected DUI crash on Saturday in Las Vegas. The fatal motorcycle crash occurred at about 7:15 p.m. on North Rancho Drive near West Turquoise Road.
The incident occurred after a pickup truck turned left, striking the driver of a Harley-Davidson FXSTB Motorcycle before crashing into a stopped car.
The driver of the pickup truck fled the scene on foot before later being arrested in the area. An arrest report alleges that the suspect smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot, watery eyes.
According to jail records, the suspect was later booked into the Clark County Detention Center on one count each of DUI, duty to stop at the scene of a crash, and a misdemeanor violation.
