Pedestrian Dies After Hit-And-Run Near Las Vegas Strip
A pedestrian passed away after a hit-and-run incident in the early morning of May 3 on Flamingo Road, east of the Las Vegas Strip.
According to police, a vehicle described as a Mercedes-Benz, was traveling west on Flamingo Road around 1 a.m. when it struck the pedestrian who was in the crosswalk at Burnham Avenue. The vehicle immediately left the scene after hitting the man.
The pedestrian, a 60-year-old man from Oceanside California, was rushed to Sunrise Hospital and Medical center where he unfortunately passed away. His identification has not yet been released.
