Police Search for Driver of Vehicle That Hit and Killed Pedestrian
Metro Police are looking for the driver of a car that hit and killed a pedestrian on the evening of March 14th in the northeast valley.
The victim, a man in his 50s, was crossing the street on Lake Mead Boulevard near Lincoln Road around 8:40 p.m. when he stepped into the path of the vehicle.
He was then taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle was traveling west and failed to stop after the incident, the vehicle has not yet been located.
The car has been described by police as dark-gray and metallic in color.
