Raiders Star Henry Ruggs III Charged With DUI in Fatal Crash in Las Vegas Valley Raiders wide receiver Henry Ruggs III was involved in a fatal car crash on the early morning of November 2nd . Ruggs has been accused of a DUI resulting in death, according to the Las Vegas Metro Police Department. Metro Police reported a fiery crash involving a Chevrolet Corvette and a Toyota Rav4 around 3:39 a.m. near S. Rainbow Boulevard and Spring Valley Parkway. The initial investigation report indicates the front of the Corvette collided with the back of the Toyota. Upon arrival at the scene, the responding officers immediately noticed that the Rav4 was on fire. Fire crews then responded and located a deceased victim inside the Toyota. The deceased driver of the Rav4 has yet to be identified by the Clark County Coroner’s office but was reported to be a woman. Police identified the driver of the Chevrolet Corvette to be 22-year-old Henry Ruggs III of the Las Vegas Raiders. Ruggs remained at the scene and did exhibit signs of impairment. Ruggs was taken to University Medical Center and treated for minor injuries, said police. LVMPD claims that Ruggs is being charged with DUI resulting in death, which warrants a 2-20 year prison sentence under Nevada Law.   “Car accidents are on the rise in the Las Vegas area.
