Two-Car Crash Kills 47-Year-Old Pedestrian
At around 5 p.m. on January 27th, a Hyundai Tucson collided with a Honda Civic in the intersection of North 28th Street and East Charleston Boulevard resulting in the death of a pedestrian.
After watching surveillance video, it was determined that the accident caused the Civic to veer off the road and hit a 47-year-old man on the corner waiting to cross the street.
The pedestrian was taken to University Medical Center where he was later pronounced dead.
It is not believed that alcohol played a role in the accident.
