Vegas Man Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash on I-70
A Las Vegas resident has been killed in a crash on I-70 in Vigo County, Indiana.
The Vigo County Coroner’s Office has identified the deceased from this crash as a 51-year-old Las Vegas resident.
The crash happened on May 20, around the 2-mile-marker of I-70 E in Vigo County.
The initial police investigation indicates that the man was driving a Dodge pickup truck eastbound on Interstate 70 when the vehicle unexplainably left the roadway and crashed into a large tree before coming to a stop. It is believed that the driver was killed on impact.
Impairment is not thought to be a factor in the accident and the investigation is ongoing.
