Community Activities from February 28th to March 4th in Las Vegas Valley In the community February 28: “The Corner Gallery” in the Arts Factory is having its March 2017 feature show from 1-7pm. Later that evening, Colliers International will host a champagne reception followed by a 4-course dinner to benefit the Links for Life Foundation which donates to local children’s charities. Tickets for the event are $125 a person and the event will be at Bratalian by Carla Pellegrino. March 1: Wondering what all the craze is about crystals? Vegas Crystal Healings & More is having a Crystal 101 class at 6:30 pm to answer questions about how they work and for what. This day is also the deadline for students who are graduating in 2017 to receive up to $1,500 in scholarship funds from the Simon Youth Foundation and the Las Vegas South Premium Outlets. At 8 pm, Cosmopolitan Connections is presenting “The Spring Fling Networking Event” featuring Stardust Styles Boutique models, fashion & dress giveaway at “Libre Mexican Cantina,” located in Red Rock Casino. March 2: The Henderson Business Resource Center is having a seminar on business fraud prevention tactics. Also, Priscila Fowler Fine Art is opening their newest exhibition, which will continue through April 29. March 3: The newest Zaba’s Mexican Grill will be cutting their ribbon at 9809 W. Flamingo Rd. Also, St. Thomas Catholic Church is having their annual Fish Fry fundraiser at 6 pm. March 4: Bonner Elementary School is having their 6th Annual Run for Education, beginning at 9 am. Registration is $15 for kids and $25 for adults.
